Fresh from the Northwoods of Wisconsin
It’s a scavenger hunt! How many Crustic items can you find in this living room? If you find them all, you get to pick a prize from the perfectly placed treasure chest!
For those wondering, we found eight items of interest. Here are our thoughts: Pretty carpeting, brass touch lamp, red hat on wall, avocado green chair cushion, some sort of stuffed chicken, tube TV, unseen in this view is a wall mural of a wildlife seen, and of course the treasure chest.
As we searched across the Northwoods of Wisconsin, for for a relaxing cabin in the woods, what we found was the basis for the word we termed as "Crustic." Consider it a healthy amount of crustiness added to a rustic base for a stew of "What were they thinking?" The photos here are from actual real estate listings attempting to sell these treasures.
